It was fun, but a bit shit if you take your tv watching a little too seriously. Not very true to life, but I warmed to it.
If there's a second series there's no way I'll be able to not watch. So job done on me.

The last episode ruined it all for me.
So Elliot, a trained killer, manages to shoot the top boy in the cheek from 5 yards rather than take his head clean off and then the ending with the mistress saving the wife who was shot at point blank range.....really?
Clearly making a second series.

Cant agree more. Come from E16 so have been very close to this world.
Funny most real "gangsters" are low profile in person.
Its muppets from places like Croydon or anywhere out in the sticks that try to give it large.

Haven't watched it, since lock stock, anything about London gangsters comes across as wank fodder for wannabe hard men. Just can't take it seriously.
This might actually be good but I've been put off it for life.

Sorry Swiss but im with Vexed here, no way the kid of a gangster comes out speaking like that. If you've ever spoken to Mr Hunt senior and junior you'd see through that part of Gangs of London immediately. Very far fetched.

It’s a drama series, of course it’s supposed to be ‘real’ to some extent. Otherwise it ends up laughable.
The meat cleaver scene was great ‘action’ but if you have a go at getting some bloke 30 times with a meat cleaver and miss every time, it’s probably not the right job for you mate. Maybe work in an office doing admin instead?

I think it ok...lets face it,there is fuck all else worth watching....yes its far fetched but it moves along at a steady pace and is worth a go.
Its only a TV series,its not suppose to be real.

I’ve watched the first two episodes and lost interest already.
I might be missing something but why would the top gangster in London go on his own into a shithole tower block on a rough council estate right at the start?
The accents are terrible, the casting is dreadful and it’s far too unrealistic. One scene had a bloke holding a gun to someone’s head but then looking away for about five seconds! Hmm, I wonder what’s going to happen here?! Absolute dog shit.
Some great action scenes but that’s not enough.

This is terrible. Terribly cast, the main character just isn't convincing as a gangster and his mate Carlton Banks is just as bad. Why are they all so weedy and posh?
Why the fuck are the "pikeys" Welsh? Storyline is ridiculous too.
Yet somehow I've watched three episodes of it. Gomorrah is much better, but warning to WHOers - you do need to be able to read to watch it.
